This dictionary was made by Álvaro Vallejo.

List status: © Álvaro Vallejo

Author: Álvaro Vallejo, Colombia (This material was also reviewed by an american bilingual (eng-spa) forester.)
Source: personal, word by word list collection, no pre-existent lists used.

There is the eternal problem of delimiting a glossary of a given field, e.g. Forestry, what should be in and what should be out? I adopted a practical point of view, and not a linguistic approach. Besides forestry-specific and related terms, sometimes I added also some common words needed by foresters who don't speak Spanish or English.

Abbreviations in parenthesis indicate local terms in some countries:
A = Argentina
C = Colombia
CA = Central America
CR = Costa Rica
M = Mexico
V = Venezuela
